The 4-Hour work Week: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich

Tuesday, July 01, 2003

Last week, I needed to grab some tools for network scanning and monitoring. I settled on Ethereal, and discovered Fink. I've since installed many other Unix goodies on my iBook, including ntop, nmap, and the bluefish editor. Fink Commander is a good graphical interface for Fink. It makes it easier to choose, download and install applications.

Three days ago, I decided to install KDE. I'm still only halfway through compiling it!
